Credit Recovery
If your child did not pass at least one class during the 2021-2022 school year that is required for graduation, he/she will need to recover that credit by either re-taking the class next year, or enrolling in credit recovery (summer school).
Credit Recovery courses cost typically $75 per half credit. But MCS is offering this opportunity at no cost to families for a limited time. Students who sign up for Credit Recovery will be assigned an online credit recovery course through Edgenuity. Students must attend class in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 am until 11:00 am in the Media Center at the Jr/Sr High School. They can work on their course at home as well, but they MUST be in attendance during the credit recovery summer school sessions.
Credit Recovery will begin on Tuesday, June 21 at 8:00 am and will end on Thursday, July 29 at 11:00 am. Students can enroll in up to 2 credits (four ½ credits) and the school counselor will help determine which course(s) will be assigned.
Students will be issued a Chromebook during the first Credit Recovery Lab on Tuesday, June 21.
Courses must be completed and Chromebooks must be turned in by 11:00 am on Thursday, July 28.
The deadline to register for credit recovery is Friday, June 17 at 3:00 pm.
